Prácticas Profesionales con ¡HICA!
Constantemente estamos buscando practicantes inteligentes, ambiciosos y llenos de energía para asistirnos en nuestras operaciones diarias, eventos de temporada y proyectos especiales. Los practicantes tendrán la oportunidad de aprender sobre organizaciones sin fines de lucro, trabajo social, organización de la comunidad, ley migratoria y la comunidad Hispana de Birmingham. ¡HICA! tiene tres temporadas generales para practicantes: primavera, verano y otoño. Por favor tenga en cuenta que no se necesita ser estudiante para hacer prácticas profesionales en ¡HICA!.

STRONG FAMILIES INTERN
Interns provide professional supportive, appropriate responses to the needs of the Strong Families Program such as to engage and participate in active outreach activities, administrative work, direct services to program’s participants, among other duties. The responsibilities within the job description may be done once sufficient experience and confidence is gained, while shadowing an advocate. Candidate should have previous experience working with vulnerable populations. Interns' participation is to abide by ¡HICA!’s mission, vision and the Strong Families Program core values.
Development and Marketing Internship
The Development and Marketing intern will gain valuable insight into the world of non-profit public relations, and communications by working directly with the Development and Marketing team and assisting in the implementation process of an organizational wide strategic communication plan that elevates ¡HICA!’s brand and profile in the community to its target audiences. This Intern requires a minimum commitment of 15 - 20 hours per week (flexibility with hours and weeks). Hybrid position (remote/in-office) This internship starts May 30, 2023 and ends August 25, 2023.
